Document Management System
The Document Management System (DMS) is a database system for construction projects.
DMS is used to store and manage all documents within a project.
DMS can then be used as a contemporaneous record of documents and transmittals and is a written description of
which documents exist, what is the current revision and
what was sent when to whom.
With DMS you can:
- manage documents and their revisions
- manage participating companies and users
- generate and manage shipping transmittals from and to each registered user / company
- manage meta-data (e.g. document types, sizes, file formats, shipping media, etc.)
